After a couple of years in to my face painting journey I came across The Australian Body Art Awards & Convention. Now, me, I'm a shy little flower and I don't travel well if I'm not sure where I'm going but I decided that now matter what I was going to this painty convention!
It was like the most awesome thing! Not only did you get to take in days of classes and learning but getting to know all those people you have been "friends" with on Facebook is just the best! I haven't missed a convention since!
So, I decided once I had my face paint shop that I would give a little inspiration back and have been a prize sponsor for many years as a result.
Continued learning brings us joy and keeps our enthusiasm for the colourful industry that we are so lucky to be a part of.
If you are new or you haven't been to the Australian Body Art Awards & Convention before they hold a large convention usually around March in Melbourne and a smaller convention in another State. However, there are also international artist that travel for workshops as well.
